Admissions information

The University of Chichester Academy Trust is consulting on changes to the Admissions Policy. This is to take account of new academies joining the Trust and a merger of two academies. There are no changes to over-subscription criteria or reductions in pupil admission numbers (PAN). You can read the policy and respond via the Trust website admissions page: www.unicat.org.uk

Parents of summer born children can request to be admitted to Year R in the September after they turn five - a year later than they would usually start school. Summer born children have birthdays between 1 April and 31 August, inclusive. For more information on how to defer a place can be found here: School admissions Hampshire County Council Delayed Admission

Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) for each year group is 60. Please see our Admissions Policy below for information on how places are allocated if the school is oversubscribed. How to appeal for a place can also be found in the 'Admissions - Appeals' document below.

Please phone the school office on 02394 006070 if you have any admissions queries.

In year applications

If you are making an 'in year' application, please submit your completed form directly to Hampshire County Council as we have chosen to have our admissions handled by them. The application can be made on their admissions page by using this link: School admissions | Hampshire County Council (hants.gov.uk). Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) for each year group is 60.

The school will aim to notify parents of the outcome of their application in writing within 10 school days, but they must be notified in writing within 15 school days.

Hampshire County Council has specific advice on applying for a Year 3 place in a primary school for admission in September 2026, which can be found on School admissions | Hampshire County Council (hants.gov.uk)
